We know, we know. Summer’s over, but Winter’s not quite here. You’ve ridden and hiked every trail you can find and now you’re now ready for snow. We are too.
Unfortunately, we’ve got some time to bide before the snow falls so here are a few upcoming events in the area that you can distract yourself with until the snow starts to fall in earnest.
September 15 – Jackson Hole Arts Festival, Come check out the 26th annual festival featuring Joseph Velazquez.
September 25 – Jackson Canine Carnival, bring the family pooch out for a walk and enjoy the day. Benefits go to the local animal shelter. If you don’t have a pup come on down and see who’s looking for a forever home.
September 25 - Free Entrance to National Parks for Public Lands Day, head up to the park and enjoy dinner and the fall colors.
October 1-3 – Teton Wellness Festival head to Snow King the first weekend of October and check out seminars on everything from vitamins, advice on career changes, to yoga and zumba instruction. Click here for ticket information.

October 15 - Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance is hosting the Wild & Scenic Film Festival for the second year. Head down to the Pink Garter Theater and check out some great films sponsored by Patagonia.
October 23 – The Grand Teton Music Festival is hosting Boris Godunov at the Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village. Tickets are $18 for adults and $5 for students.
October 30 – Snow King & KMTN’s annual Halloween Bash, head to Snow King in your best costume for the annual party, start’s at 8:0pm. Mandatory Air will be playing all night long, all proceeds go to the Children’s Learning Center.
